One of the most common and devastating geologic hazards in Oregon is landslides. Average annual repair costs for landslides in Oregon exceed $10 million, and severe winter storm losses can exceed $100 million. As population growth continues and development into landslide susceptible terrain occurs, damage and loss from this natural hazard will continue to grow. DOGAMI created the Statewide Landslide Information Database for Oregon to improve the understanding of landslide hazards in Oregon and to provide a statewide base level of landslide data.
SLIDO-4.0 supersedes all previous releases of SLIDO.
